Accelerate Science Now
Accelerate Science Now is a non-partisan coalition of leaders in industry, academia, civil society, and the research community, charged with igniting a new era of rapid scientific discovery and delivering the benefits to the American people. ASN and its members will develop partnerships, conduct research, and educate policymakers and the public about opportunities to transform the scientific enterprise around the potential of AI and other game-changing technologies.
ASN is a big-tent movement that is aligned and working in parallel with other major initiatives that focus on science acceleration. ASN will engage leaders in the public and private research ecosystem to learn from and build upon the effects of all aligned efforts.
We are in a moment of tremendous scientific potential. AI and other game-changing technologies have made it possible to solve some of our hardest challenges. Capturing this opportunity and delivering the benefits to the American people will require bold, transformative action. We need an all-of-society movement to unlock American ingenuity. This is the moment. We must Accelerate Science Now and here is how:
Support transformational and responsible AI capabilities at every stage of the scientific process to drive constant progress and allow humans to focus on creativity.
Have unified platforms that ensure scientific data is coherent, complete, easily accessible, and that experimental data is automatically collected.
Supercharge participation across the country by creating cross-disciplinary public-private partnerships and more venues to evaluate and deliver innovation.
Underlying every stage of these pillars is the American people. America’s drive and genius is its superpower, and is how we improve life at home and secure leadership on the world stage. Join us in supporting this grand national effort to usher in a new era of scientific discovery. Ensure the U.S. has and maintains the global lead in compute power for science & the energy infrastructure required.
