The American AI Festival announces first wave of speakers: DOE Under Secretary for Science Dario Gil, Senator Mark Kelly, Representative Jay Obernolte, OPM Director Scott Kupor, and industry leaders in AI

MARCH 11TH, 2026—WASHINGTON, DC—SeedAI is announcing the first wave of programming and speakers for the American AI Festival on March 26th in Washington, D.C. The event will bring together policymakers, scientists, artists, engineers, and industry leaders for a full day of keynotes, featured talks, and panels. The programming will cover themes and hot-button issues in AI policy, including AI and science acceleration, national AI readiness, AI and robotics literacy, infrastructure, governance, and more.

The first announced featured speakers for the festival include Dario Gil, Under Secretary for Science and Genesis Mission Director at the U.S. Department of Energy; Senator Mark Kelly; Representative Jay Obernolte; Scott Kupor, Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management; Dr. Erwin Gianchandani, National Science Foundation; and Taylor Stockton, Chief Innovation Officer, U.S. Department of Labor.

The American AI Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 26th, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
