SeedAI hosted the latest Hack the Future event on March 21–22, 2024, at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. This event brought together students, community members, and AI experts to explore equitable adoptions of AI, particularly in historically disadvantaged communities. At the event, participants engaged in challenges and conversed with experts on AI’s role in addressing or exacerbating socioeconomic inequalities.
“Hack the Future” is part of SeedAI’s broader initiative to ensure AI benefits are accessible to all. The program is organized by SeedAI in partnership with the Wilson Center’s Science and Technology Innovation Program and builds on the momentum from the Generative Red Team Challenge at DEF CON 31 in August 2023, where thousands of people tested AI generative large language models (LLM) built by Anthropic, Cohere, Google, Hugging Face, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Stability AI for bias, potential harms, and security vulnerabilities.
